Description:
As a home satellite technician, your primary responsibility will be installing and servicing DISH Network satellite systems. In addition, you may participate in the delivery and installation of various home theater systems.

No Home Satellite Experience Required!

Job Description:

ACS is currently seeking Installation and Integration Technicians for our growing custom audio and video business.  In this role, you will work closely with the sales team in designing and executing various commercial and residential installations as needed.  You will also contribute to the future growth and direction of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and install residential and/or commercial audio/video systems
• Identify and understand existing and emerging industry-related technologies that pertain to current or future business needs
• Identify key product manufactures of industry related products
• Positively contribute ideas and energy to new growth opportunities for ACS
• Communicate one-on-one with existing and potential customers
• Attend various trade shows and industry related shows as needed and as approved by ACS Management
• Perform other administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Experienced in the following areas: New Construction & Retrofit Wiring, Surround Sound, Structured Wiring, Video, Phone, Data Distribution, Distributed Audio, Projector and Custom TV Installation, Lighting, control systems, Etc.
• Professional appearance with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, collaborative management and leadership skills, good project management skills, as well as the flexibility and adaptability to support and influence change
• Minimum of 2-3 years of custom audio/video installation experience
• Well versed in new construction and retrofit installation
• Thorough knowledge of internet usage, Microsoft Office, and other computer technologies
• Ability to learn and retain new information
• Willingness to provide basic administrative or operational support as needed

Willingness to work late evenings or weekends as needed

Job Description:
ACS is currently seeking a professional Retail Sales Consultant to perpetuate the growth of our retail and custom audio/video division.  This person will be responsible for managing all walk-in and phone sales leads during scheduled shift.  He or she will actively seek out new business opportunities and provide detailed project management as needed.  This person will also serve as the face and voice of ACS at trade shows and in the community, actively building relationships with construction-industry professionals, business owners, and corporate decision makers.  Lastly, this position will thoroughly understand current industry related products while actively pursuing new product offerings, keeping ACS on the forefront of modern technology.

Responsibilities:

• Professionally greet all customers visiting our store or on the phone
• Take the role of professional consultant as apposed to retail clerk, providing customers with honest and productive information that will help them make a proper purchasing decision
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of current product lines, competitive products and key manufactures
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of key suppliers and products offered
• Ability to hook up and work with basic audio/video systems
• Coordinate in-home/in-business assessments for existing and new customers as needed
• Ensure that the appearance of the retail store is trend-forward and are aesthetically pleasing to our target audience, rearranging and cleaning as needed
• Ability to lift and carry merchandise around showroom floor
• Manage in-store pricing and promotional presentations
• Work closely with marketing on developing and executing various advertising and sales campaigns
• Actively and enthusiastically communicate with existing ACS customers as needed
• Meet specific sales and profit goals as established by management

Qualifications:

• Requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• 4-6 years of professional retail sales experience with proven track record of success
• Must have a good working knowledge of computers along with most Microsoft Office programs -- Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.
• Willingness to work late nights or weekends as needed
• Professional in appearance
• Acceptable driving record and Virginia State driver’s license as this position will periodically utilize company vehicles
• Clean background record and drug free
